Independent Service Disclosure
Ephesus Tickets is an independent booking service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, or the official Ephesus Archaeological Site administration. We purchase official entry tickets on your behalf through the government booking system.
How Our Service Works
When you place a booking through our website, you appoint Ephesus Tickets as your agent to purchase official entry tickets from the Turkish government's booking system (muze.gov.tr) in your name and on your behalf. Your admission contract arises directly between you and the ticket issuer (the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, via muze.gov.tr); we are not the seller of admission. Once your ticket has been secured, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details. Our service adds value through a streamlined English-language booking experience, customer support, and a simplified checkout process.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use our service. By placing a booking, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Pricing
All prices are shown as a single, all-inclusive price per ticket, and you may choose to pay in any of several supported currencies. This price comprises the official ticket cost, which we pass through to the ticket issuer at exact cost with no markup, plus our booking service fee — covering secure payment, English-language support, and purchasing and delivering your ticket in your name and on your behalf. The exact composition of your price is stated on the receipt available after purchase. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay; nothing is added later. Prices may change without prior notice, but the price shown at the time of your booking is the price you will be charged.
Limitation of Liability
As an intermediary booking service, we are not responsible for: temporary or permanent site closures, adverse weather conditions, schedule changes made by the official site administration, personal injury or loss at the archaeological site, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your booking.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, and graphics — is the property of Ephesus Tickets. The name “Ephesus” is used descriptively to identify the archaeological site and does not constitute a trademark claim.
EU Consumer Rights
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, leisure services provided on a specific date are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 16(l)). By completing your booking, you acknowledge and consent to this exemption, as we begin fulfilling your order immediately by purchasing the official ticket on your behalf.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at info@ephesus-tickets.com to resolve any issues. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, to the extent permitted by applicable law. EU consumers retain all protections afforded by their local consumer protection laws regardless of this clause.
